Writer Benefits and Responsibilities:
Currently, we are looking for three talented, local writers in the Adams Morgan area to become weekly contributors. In the future, we will be showcasing our writer's bio information here with their photo and links to any other publications they may work on.
We are looking for writers who will contribute news, editorial, reviews, and humorous stories for our readers. If you have a digital camera and know how to add photos to the web, that is a bonus.
We will be choosing the best three writers based on applications we received by February 11th, so make sure you send us an application today!
Benefits:
1. Money. We will be sharing any future advertising revenues with our writing team.
2. Build a local audience. We will promote this website all over the Adams Morgan area, so we guarantee people will read your words. That means people will base decisions on your recommendations as our writers build names for themselves.
3. Help our neighborhood become a stronger community.
4. Have fun. We plan on having a good time while building this publication, so we are looking for individuals who have a sense of humor and like to express themselves.
Responsibilities:
1. Contribute one story per week, which is at least 100 words long and includes one photo.
2. Respond to all reader's comments.
3. Write exciting stories and strive to report breaking news, which will increase readership.
4. Promote the website and your name to local circles throughout the neighborhood.
